Our story · Est. Mughalsarai

We don't sell gifts. We compose the sentence you couldn't find.

The Petal Affairs is a small handmade gifting studio in Mughalsarai, Uttar Pradesh. Every crochet bouquet, hamper box and handwritten letter that leaves our table is built around one question — what is this moment trying to say?

Blush and cream roses being arranged by hand

Composed in the atelier

Speaks Moment.

It started with one bouquet that had to be right.

Before the atelier had a name, it had a kitchen table, a roll of kraft paper, and an order from a friend who needed a gift to say what he couldn't. The bouquet took four hours. He cried. So did she. We were ruined for ordinary gifting after that.

Today the table is bigger, but nothing else has changed. Bouquets are crocheted stem by stem and pipe-cleaner petals twisted one at a time, so nothing wilts on the way. Letters are written by hand and read back against your words before they're folded. Hampers are packed the way you'd pack them for your own mother — and every order still gets photographed and confirmed on WhatsApp before it leaves.

We deliver across India, same-day where we can. But what we actually ship is the pause — the second before they open it, when the moment speaks for itself.

Three rules the atelier never breaks.

01

The moment comes first

We never start with a product. We start with what you're trying to say — then choose the flowers, the box, the words around it.

02

Hands, not shelves

Nothing is pre-assembled. Every piece is composed to order in the atelier, wrapped, and signed off the same day it leaves.

03

One message is enough

No forms, no carts required. Tell us the occasion on WhatsApp and we compose, photograph, and confirm before anything ships.
